Buying Items

The question of prices is the most asked about thing.  Considering that this is not a guild and that "members" who are in a guild might have other responisibilities we don't want to make it unfair for those who don't raid constantly.  However those that do should get a little extra credit.  As such the following system will be used.

The system will be a slight variation of the 10 point system the most people should be aware of.  In this system you will start off with 10 points, with a maximum of 20.  During each raid you will get 2 points for going through the entire raid and .01 points for each boss killed during the raid.  Total number of points available for each raid will be 3 points.  Points will be recorded by a designated Points Keeper and logged on the site afterward.

As in the 10 point system you Rare items will cost you 5 points and Epic items will cost you 10.  You are only allowed to win 2 blue items in a raid.  After that you are banned from rolling the rest of that raid.  For Epics you may win 2 as well (if you have the points).  Please note that attempting to leave the raid after you have reached you limit will result in lost points.  If you have issues you will need to talk to your class master.  The only item that may fall into a different group will be the Hunter Epic Quest Leaf.  Since I am a Hunter I most likely cannot objectively give a system for this drop.  As I don't imagine it drops often it should never be a problem.  However if no Hunter on the raid can afford it it doesn't seem sensible to toss it.  Suggestions on this are welcome.

Need Before Greed:  This part should probably go without saying, but all items will be distributed on a Need before Greed basis.  If an item drops that is meant for a Hunter no one is allowed to attempt to buy it before the Hunters present.  This goes for any class.  If the class in quest passes on it it will be open to bids.  At that point anyone can bid on it.

Looting:  For the sake of the entire raid and the people who put there time in to do it we will only do Master Looting.  With only one person allowed to loot the items (that matter) we can keep things fair and avoid the dreaded "Ninja Looting".  We want everyone to have fun and its no fun when someone steals.  The Master Looter for the dungeon will be chosen from a small pool of 2-3 people and may change from time to time so that no one person is required to always run the raid.
